December Photo Project {2010} Day 1

Each year, my family works together to choose the "theme" for our tree for that year.  We have done homemade ornaments only, color themed, snowman themed, etc.  This year, my daughter crocheted me a beautiful chain of snowflakes that inspired us to do a white and wood tree with red accents.  We have lots of homemade ornaments, like the cinnamon bundles and stars made out of sticks or Popsicle sticks that go great with this theme.  I collect snowmen of all types and they were a great addition to it as well.  Throw in some beautiful angels, snowflakes, wood bead garland and few others and we had our tree.  Oh, and the garland that inspired it all?  It never made it on the tree, but it looks beautiful with my snowman display on the piano!  But, that's another post for another day!
