Wednesday night in Kid's Connection, we had a party for the children in celebration of the birth of Jesus. It was a wonderful party, but what I am most thankful for about it is the blessing of getting to work with these kids and have a part to play in their coming to know Jesus. Our goal this week, other than just having fun, was to help them: remember the true meaning of the Christmas, remember that it is better to give than to receive and learn that Christmas is not all about getting all that we want.
