Today's post will be kind of odd for some of you! But, since this is supposed to be December/Christmas as we see it, let me explain... We were reminded on the radio yesterday that a "cold front" was coming our way for the next few days. (Now, I use the term "cold front" very loosely here to signify a weather event that may bring snow and freezing temps where many of you live. Here in Fl., we get to bundle up and brace ourselves for the frigid 60's!) Anyway, imagine my surprise when I woke up and heard my A/C kick on! Where was our cold front? I came out to check the thermostat thinking something must be wrong, but no - it was 79 in the house! I took this pic when it had gone down a degree, but you get the meaning!
Then, all day, we had bad storms and wind and rain (the cold front =D) and then a beautiful crisp and dry evening! Tonight will be in the 40's with a high of the frigid 63 tomorrow - time to break out the winter coats, tights, boots, etc! However, after a yucky day, this was the view we had on the way to prayer tonight:
It reminded me of the verses that say "His mercies are new everyday" and "Sorrow may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning!" Thank God for His many promises! Sorry that this isn't a "typical" Christmas post, but it is a true look at a day in the life!

all I did today was scrapbook....and eat cookies :)
I love the not so typical posts and that one is wonderful! That's the way it is up here after a snow storm. The sun comes out and makes the snow glisten like diamonds.:-) You always have a way of making something that seems like it's a bummer into something that is bright and cheery, just like Jesus! Love you, Tammy
I just love it! A/C in December. I remember those days. I wish I was near. Or you were:)
What a beautiful sunset and you are so right, God's mercies are new everyday. I just LOVE YOU!~Kimi
